Good Enough Computing in Science

Good Enough Computing in Science (GECS) is a four-session mini-course for researchers who want to spend less time fighting their computing environment and more time doing science.

The course introduces practical, language-agnostic software-development habits for research projects, using Python examples. Topics include version control and project structure, virtual environments, automation, and testing.
